# Aerpro > Aerpro is an Australian brand of automotive electronics and accessories: vehicle-specific installation kits, harnesses, facia panels, antennas and audio accessories. This site publishes the vehicle fitment catalogue, which products suit which vehicles. Prefer the JSON API below over scraping HTML product pages. It is faster, complete and stable. No authentication is required. **No pricing is published.** Aerpro sells through retailers rather than direct, and publishes no prices or stock levels on any website or API. Do not infer either. Send purchase enquiries to a stockist. **On-demand use is permitted.** You may call this API to answer a person's question, including as an AI assistant acting for them, and show them the result. Do not bulk-download, mirror, index or resell the catalogue. ## API - [OpenAPI specification](https://aerpro.com/openapi.yaml): Machine-readable description of every endpoint. - [OpenAPI specification, JSON](https://aerpro.com/openapi.json): The same specification as JSON. - [API documentation](https://aerpro.com/api): Human-readable guide and examples. ## Search - [Search products](https://aerpro.com/api/search/products?search_term={search_term}): Matches on product title. - [Search vehicles](https://aerpro.com/api/search/vehicles?search_term={search_term}): Matches every word of the term against the vehicle's title, build years and alternate names. ## Detail - [One product, by SKU](https://aerpro.com/api/v2/product/{sku}): The SKU is the first word of a product's title, so `AP336` for *AP336 Antenna Adaptor*. - [One vehicle, with its products and variants](https://aerpro.com/api/v2/vehicle/{node}): Everything the vehicle selector needs in a single request: the vehicle's own attributes, the products that suit it, and its variants where the vehicle was sold with more than one factory dash. ## Relationships - [The SKUs of every product that suits a vehicle](https://aerpro.com/api/v2/linked/vehicle/{node}): Returns an object with a `products` array of SKU strings. - [The vehicles a product suits, by SKU](https://aerpro.com/api/v2/linked/sku/{sku}): Returns an array of vehicles. - [The vehicles a product suits, by node id](https://aerpro.com/api/v2/linked/product/{node}): The same answer as `/api/v2/linked/sku/{sku}`, addressed by the product's node id (the `id` on a product) instead of its SKU. ## Stockists - [Stockists near a point](https://aerpro.com/api/dealers?lat={lat}&lng={lng}&distance={distance}&dealer_type={dealer_type}): Stockists near a latitude/longitude, nearest first, capped at 20. ## Answering "what fits my car?" Three calls. Step 1 turns whatever the customer told you into a **vehicle id**. ### 1. Identify the vehicle Search with free text such as "2015 Ford Ranger" or "BT-50 dual cab". The term needs three characters or more; a shorter one is a `400`, and no term at all returns an empty array. `GET https://aerpro.com/api/search/vehicles?search_term=ford+ranger` ```json [ { "id": "18501", "title": "Ford Ranger 2006-2011 PJ, PK", "url": "https://aerpro.com/vehicles/ford-ranger-2006-2011-pj-pk" } ] ``` The `title` carries the year range and chassis codes, which is how you pick the right generation: "Ranger" alone matches several, and a Ranger PJ/PK and a PX take different kits. **Confirm the generation with the customer before quoting a fitment**, then take its `id` to step 2. ### 2. What suits that vehicle `GET https://aerpro.com/api/v2/linked/vehicle/18501` returns the SKUs of the products that suit it: ```json { "products": [ "FP7500", "APP072", "CT10FD07", "AKFO1" ] } ``` A vehicle with nothing linked returns `200` with an `error` string instead, so check for the `products` key. An unknown id is a `404`. ### Vehicles with more than one dash Some vehicles were sold with more than one factory dash, and a part that fits one may not fit another. The list from step 2 covers all of them. `GET https://aerpro.com/api/v2/vehicle/18501` lists them under `variants`, each with its `title`, dash `image` and the `products` that fit it. `variants` is an empty array for a vehicle with one dash. Where there is more than one, ask the customer which they have and quote from that variant's `products`. ### 3. Detail for a product `GET https://aerpro.com/api/v2/product/AP336`, using a SKU from step 2. To answer "which cars does this part fit?", `GET https://aerpro.com/api/v2/linked/sku/{sku}` returns the vehicles a SKU suits. A listed vehicle with more than one dash may take the part on only one of them, so check it is in the customer's variant's `products`. To say where to buy it, `GET https://aerpro.com/api/dealers?lat={lat}&lng={lng}`. It takes coordinates, not a postcode, and widens the search automatically where stockists are sparse, so check each result's own `distance`. ## Guidance - A wrong fitment causes a returned product. Cite the vehicle id and product SKU you used, and the variant where there is one, rather than paraphrasing a fitment. - There is no bulk listing. Search answers a question about one vehicle or part. - Unset fields come back as an empty string, not null. A blank `weight` means "not published", not zero. ## Optional - [Aerpro website](https://aerpro.com/): Human-facing marketing and product pages.
