The Aerpro APC22 is a vehicle specific tailgate handle reverse camera designed to suit Ford Ranger / Mazda BT-50 models (2012-2021). Replacing the factory tailgate handle, it provides a clean OEM style installation without the need to drill additional holes into the vehicle.
Designed specifically to assist with reversing and parking, the APC22 delivers a clear rear view with a 105° diagonal viewing angle that helps reduce blind spots behind the vehicle. The camera also features selectable parking guidelines that provide helpful visual reference when manoeuvring into tight spaces. These guidelines can be enabled or disabled during installation to suit the driver's preference.
Built to handle harsh automotive environments, the APC22 features a durable ABS housing and an IP68 waterproof rating, protecting it from dust, dirt, and water exposure. With an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, it performs reliably in both extreme heat and cold conditions.
The camera supports AHD 720P or CVBS video output, selectable via loop wire, allowing compatibility with a wide range of aftermarket head units and Aerpro Advanced Safety Vision monitors. Included with the camera is a heavy duty 10 metre video cable with 4-pin heavy duty connectors, along with an adapter to convert the 4-pin connection to RCA for easy integration with most aftermarket displays.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Please note that this camera can be adapted to display on the original factory screen (CVBS configuration only), however this requires a compatible display adaptor (sold separately). Vehicles equipped with a 4.2" factory display require APVFD03.
