G2000T HANDHELD THERMAL CAMERA
G2000T HANDHELD THERMAL CAMERA
The Aerpro G2000T is a handheld thermal imaging camera that turns invisible temperature differences into a clear colour picture on a 2.8 inch LCD screen, so you can find the problem instead of hunting for it. Point it at a switchboard, a wall cavity, a radiator hose or a ducted heating outlet and the display shows you exactly where the heat is, along with a live temperature reading of the hottest and coldest spots in frame.
Inside the G2000T is a 32 x 32 thermal sensor refreshing at 9Hz, paired with a 480P visible light camera. The two images are blended together using Thermal Fusion, which overlays the thermal picture onto the real world view so a hot spot lines up with the actual bolt, terminal or stud you are looking at. Fusion can be set to fixed distances of 15cm, 50cm, 1m or 2m, or aligned manually if you are working somewhere in between.
Measurement runs from -10°C all the way to 1000°C with an accuracy of ±3°C or ±3% of reading, which covers everything from a cold spot behind plasterboard to an exhaust manifold under load. Emissivity is adjustable from 0.01 to 1.0 so readings stay honest across shiny, painted, timber and masonry surfaces, and a reference emissivity table is printed in the manual for quick lookup.
Four colour palettes let you pick the view that reads best for the job. RainBow spreads the full spectrum across the scene for general scanning, IronRed gives a familiar thermal look with strong contrast at the top end, and WhiteHeat and BlackHeat strip the image back to greyscale when you want detail without the colour noise.
The G2000T has 1GB of internal storage on board and takes a Micro SD card up to 128GB, recording 640 x 480 photos as JPG and video as MP4. Files transfer to a computer through the USB Type-C port, so you can drop before and after shots straight into a quote, a report or a service record.
Power by four AA alkaline batteries, which means no waiting on a charge and no flat lithium pack at the worst possible moment. Swap in a fresh set and keep working. The camera runs on a simple six button layout with an on screen menu covering language, date and time, auto power off, temperature units, high and low temperature alarms, formatting and factory reset, so there is very little to learn before your first scan.
The G2000T ships with a lanyard and a protective soft bag, and is designed for home, hobby and DIY use across insulation checks, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, automotive troubleshooting and general electrical fault finding.
