SWVW3V STEERING WHEEL CONTROL INTERFACE TO SUIT VOLKSWAGEN VARIOUS MODELS RETAINS FACTORY HIGH-LINE & LOW-LINE CAMERA

The Aerpro SWVW3V Steering Wheel Control and Reverse Camera Retention Interface (SWC) allows you to upgrade to an aftermarket headunit whilst maintaining use of your factory steering wheel controls and factory reverse camera. Engineered to suit various Volkswagen and Skoda vehicles with RNS510/RNS315/RCD510 original headunit and quadlock connector, the interface includes a harness fitted with a vehicle specific plug designed to connect directly into the existing wiring in the vehicle with ease, no cutting of the factory wiring harness in the vehicle is required. The SWVW3V converts the factory RGB camera signal to a standard CVBS video output via RCA, allowing the factory reverse camera to display on your new aftermarket headunit. This includes factory cameras concealed behind the motorised rear VW badge, with badge operation continuing to be controlled by the vehicle as standard. Active guidelines are also retained on vehicles equipped with this feature. Installation of the aftermarket headunit is simplified even further when paired with the optional Aerpro APP8 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness, which connects between the aftermarket headunit and the Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface. This interface is CANBUS compatible and provides various outputs including Reverse Trigger, Park Brake and Speed Pulse.

    • Factory reverse camera, motorised badge camera and active guidelines are retained only where factory fitted. This interface does not add these features to vehicles not originally equipped.
    • Not compatible with factory OEM amplified systems.
    • In some vehicles, factory bluetooth module may need to be disconnected to enable steering wheel phone buttons to function.
