The fourth-generation Kia Carnival went on sale in Australia in January 2021 as an eight-seater. It came with a 2.2-litre CRDi diesel (202 PS, 441 N·m, 8-speed automatic) or a 3.5-litre MPi V6 petrol (272 PS, 331 N·m). The facelifted Carnival arrived on 16 May 2024 and introduced a hybrid powertrain, a 1.6-litre turbo petrol rated at 180 PS (132 kW) and 265 N·m. The hybrid started on the GT Line only and spread to the S and Sport+ in May 2025.

Radio and dash: The 2025 model year update brought a revamped interior with an updated centre console and new switchgear.

Trim levels: S, Si, SLi and Platinum at launch. The facelift range is S, Sport, Sport+, GT Line Lite and GT Line.
