The fourth-generation Sorento went on sale in Australia in August 2020 with a 3.5-litre V6 petrol or a 2.2-litre turbo diesel, the diesel with all-wheel drive as standard. A plug-in hybrid arrived in October 2021 and a hybrid in April 2022, both starting on the GT Line.

Radio and dash: The facelifted model (January 2024) adds a streamlined dashboard layout with a new 12.3-inch curved display, revised climate controls, a new ambient lighting stripe and slimmer air vents.

Trim levels: S, Sport, Sport+ and GT Line.
