The fifth-generation Sportage launched in Australia on 4 November 2021 with a 1.6-litre turbo petrol, a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel. A front-wheel-drive hybrid was added in March 2024. The May 2025 update dropped the manual gearbox, added an all-wheel-drive hybrid and replaced the 7-speed dual-clutch on the turbo petrol with an 8-speed automatic.

Radio and dash: The facelifted Sportage has a curved digital cockpit housing the digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a new two-spoke steering wheel.

Trim levels: S, SX, SX+ and GT Line. The hybrid is offered on SX and GT Line.
